I have known several people who have been students at this school. Normally, I am against any form of "private" education but for this this school I make an exception. I've never heard a bad thing about the academic programs. Once I heard some students complaining campus police were being picky about where they put their parking permit stickers. But if thats the worst of it, then I'd say go for it. I've been told it's tough, but fair and worth it. I'd recommend a tour of the school and a looksy into the actual program you are interested in before you just "show up" though. If you are not from around Tulsa. Good luck.

Spartan is not in the same league as Embry Riddle, but it is a reputable school to graduate quickly from if that is what you are looking for. I do not know if you are looking into being a pilot, a mechanic, NDT or a avionics technician, all of which you will be able to receive training for at Spartan. If you are looking at getting your A&P, there are cheaper ways to go and some of them are just as short. Look for a local community college that offers an 18 mo. A&P program. It will be much cheaper. If you are looking to be a pilot, there are reputable places with larger fleets and a better quality of life experience while going to school. Embry Riddle will have more of a college feel to it (same as LeTourneau University in Longview, Tx) whereas Spartan still has a "technical school" feel. I am a graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics back in 1983. I have been working for a major airline ever since as a mechanic and now an inspector. Spartan does have lifetime employment placement help, but I have never had to use it (knock on wood).
