Contact the school and tell them you're withdrawing from the school. Oklahoma Wesleyan is a good school. What are you doing there in the first place, besides wasting the faculty's time and space... With your attitude, you can easily get you a wonderful McJob...get used to it, cos with no further education, that's about all you've got to look forward to.

i dont think you will ever like that school, and you seem to pretty much have your mind made up. transfer. your parents would probably be happier that you moved closer to home, and if you're happy in your college environment you'll do better. sometimes the first place you go to isnt exactly right, dont waste any more time or money in a place that you dont want to be. there are great colleges everywhere, and if you go to school in Lousiana you can probably get reduced tuition for being a state resident.

I went to the web site. Pretty heavy duty "Jesus is Lord" thing. But you know those televangelists don't do too bad with the gals, every other day it seems one of them is busted.... Finish the semester and then withdraw. Do your exams, get your grades, and get totally blitzed after your last exam, but whatever you do, don't get behind the wheel of a car or get in one with a drunk driver. Wesleyan in Bartlesville is accredited so your courses should transfer. We're only talking about another eight weeks or so, man. Do it this way and the credits should be transferable to another university, no money lost, you'll be one semester into a degree elsewhere. Treat yourself to some movies, stay sober while classes are in session, and try seeing whether you have what it takes to pull some good grades out of this university. Although there are plenty of schools that are not run by Christians (think about LSU), I would suggest that you think about a school where it is fashionable to STUDY. Are you strong enough to THINK? As a final point, please stop feeling sorry for yourself. You're quite fortunate to have a family that is helping you through school. If you stopped moping long enough to look around for a nice (not excessively Christian) GIRL to be lonely with you might discover....you weren't so lonely. Try coffeehouses and the library and stay out of the dorm except for sleeping. Most schools have course exchange and library privileges at other schools and you probably could take a course at, borrow books at, or go hang at another campus if you look into it. If your parents are pushing you into the Jesus is Lord college thing then maybe it's time to make your own way in the world and find a community college. Anyhow Tulsa is only 20 miles away so figure out a way to get into town if there's nowhere to hang in Bartlesville. There are several universities in Tulsa where you can go hang and there will be nearby coffeehouses, or student unions on campus. Your school might even offer bus service to the ones with bigger libraries. Depending on how lame it is. While you are at one of these schools you might drop in to the admissions department, ask for an interview, and see if you have what it takes. Laura ps. I have to sympathize. OK is where they keep trying to ban the teaching of evolution in the school systems and you are in what is certifiably the most whacky state of this great union. But it's a lot less difficult than a tour of duty in Iraq.
