Do I need to go to college to become an Oklahoma City Police Officer?
I am going to become a police officer after I get out of high school and would like to know if I need to go to college.

It depends on the department. Some police departments only require applicants to have a high school diploma or ged. Some police departments require applicants to have a certain amount of college credits (30 or 60 for example) or a 2 year degree. Some police departments require applicants to have a 4 year degree. Check with the police departments that you are interested in working for. If you want to become a police officer, you should get a 4 year degree. Many of the departments that don't require applicants to have a degree prefer them to. Having a degree can help you get hired. Some departments pay their officers more if they have a degree. Having a degree can also help you get promoted during your career. Best of luck!

Is there a college or university in Oklahoma that offers Vietnamese or Gaelic classes?
I would like to learn Vietnamese and Gaelic in college, but I can't find any.

Yes. It's great! I would fully recommend going there! The people are fab.

i live in oklahoma and i can tell you that no oklahoma universities offer such classes. if you want to learn vietnamese: i would suggest just posting an ad on craigslist to find someone who can tutor you or teach you or asking a viet person you know because okc has a large viet community. you could always settle for rosetta stone....
