Florida. Florida has a better defense than OU which will come in handy in a shootout. Also, Tebow has historically played better under pressure in big games. Bradford hasn't been pressured aside from Texas and we know how that turned out. Also OU is missing DeMarco Murray which is a big loss.

I think the Gators will win. The Sooners have not played a defense like Florida's all year and the Gator defensive speed translates into a scary pass rush and the likelihood that they will get to Bradford, which he can't deal with. He'll end up getting hurried almost constantly which will result in incompletions and picks and he will probably spend a good deal of time on his back enjoying the clear Flroida skies over Joe Robbie stadium. Their running game can't stand alone and will be stifled. The Gators offence has shown that it has the ability to unlock even the best defensive schemes in the nation and hang 40 points on them. They are a triple threat with seriously speedy backs, a highly efficient passing game (even if it's not as flashy as Bob Stoops' "Spurrier-esque" pass happy offence) and OK need to be prepared for Tebow to take off and carry half their secondary for multiple yards after contact. All year OK have hung 60 points on teams who don't play defense. It's debatable if they were even the best team in one division of their conference, never mind in the nation. Florida won't shut the Sooners out, but they will hold them to a season-low score and simply outscore them on the other side of the ball.

Sooners. Murray's not that big a loss. Brown and Madu can more than carry the load. Florida won't get the pressure they need on Bradford to slow them down enough. Everyone talks bout how fast Florida is well the OU guys aren't exactly runnin in mud. Sooners D is underappreciated b/c they give up 23 pts per. No one notices how many turnovers they get...and speaking of turnovers the OU offense had nine all year, fewest in the nation. Florida has great players just not enough, on either side of the ball. In the end OU just has too many weapons.

Food For Thought Well I love Big XII and Florida football...I could rant on and rant on cause I know football better than most people but here's what I think is a big factor. SEC does have the best defenses in the nation. With the exception of Florida's opponents, SEC defenses have not seen an offensive power. Florida is about as good as an offense gets but that is only one offense out of the conference. Now Oklahoma's defense has faced the offensive likings of KU (Rock Chalk Jayhawk), Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma State. Now look what they did to the most explosive offense in the country, Texas Tech, shut them down. Now granted that I think Oklahoma defense will be ready to an extent. Yeah Florida will score and Tebow and Harvin will be brilliant like usual but they will not put up more than 28. Now Florida has not faced an opponent with a great offense or a great QB yet. Non of there teams really had a great offense, well maybe Alabama, but still. I think it will be a bit of a challenge for Florida's defense to stop Oklahoma's offense for a few quarters. Florida does have speed, fastest team in the nation NO DOUBT. I honestly DO NOT KNOW WHO WILL WIN

OU by a mile they have more than 1 good hb so it does stink that demarco murray is not playin but we still have the best offense in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go OU b careful what u wish for texas cause it might just come back to haunt you 62-21 OU over texas tech
