As much as I hate Oklahoma and would usually root for Texas, I'm rooting for the Sooners. I want to see some serious disruption in the BCS standings. I want to see the BCS crapping all over itself when it has to select a team to face the SEC champ in the BCS title game. As for the game itself, I think the Sooners have an pretty decent chance of winning. Bradford's back, and Sooners seem to be hitting their stride. OU, Bradfords back and is just as great if not better than McCoy. OU has had some pretty rough times this season and the game is a huge morale builder for the team, i expect them to come out with some major plays and i don't mean D.Murray trying to skimp around the sidelines like last game. I mean a good, rough, hard, close, game. If Texas can pull it through kudos for them, but I think OU's bringing the heat they've been hiding for most of the season. BOOMER SOONER: and you may have won last year, but you choked in a bitter loss to tech, every team has it's short comings so don't dwindle on ours.

OU defense against UT offense. OU will score points but if the OU D-line and linebackers can't get to McCoy, he and Shipley will probably tear the OU D-backs up all day. Special teams should play a big part and again Shipley will be the key to the game again this year. His kick off return for a touchdown in last years game was the turn around point. If he hadn't have scored OU would have kept the momentum and won the game.

Yes I don't want him here...we will be having a protest. He will be speaking at Oklahoma State University. I believe he is doing this to get his ratings back up and to try and brain wash more people. Algebra, trig and calculus is needed for a chemistry degree anywhere. There are a lot of formulas in chemistry and without passable algebra you would be helpless. All the sciences need algebra.

Hi Amy, You need, generally speaking, a year of calculus along with a year of calculus based general physics for a chemistry degree regardless of where you study. So to answer your question "yes" you do need college algebra for a chemistry degree at OU and you will need to take calculus too.

Im thinking about either doing criminal justice or biology/chemistry at my 2 year college seminole state college in oklahoma. Then finish my undergraduate degree at the best university I can go to. I'm only fourteen and my school is asking us what college we wanna go to when we grow up. I mean, it's not like a serious thing, but.. for me it sort of is. I'm planning to graduate early from high school, and people said it's a good idea to think about future colleges earlier than my last year of high school. I want to become a pediatrician. I know I have to go to medical school and residency, and I know I have to have extremely good grades. I know becoming a doctor comes with a lot of responsibility and a lot of work and effort. I'm thinking about majoring in Biology or Chemistry. And MCAT scores are important to. Enough about that, I want to go to Oklahoma for college. I live in Utah, and i don't like it. I mean, I know University of Utah is a good school, but if I stay here, i wouldn't be happy. I wanted to go to LSU but my parents would shoot me and my brother says he'd rather shoot himself than see me in Oklahoma. But I want him to change his mind. I really do like Oklahoma University. If you've gone to OU for college, did you like it?

Oklahoma has a great med school and a great tradition. The cost of living here is affordable and the people friendly for the most part, there are idiots everywhere. As for your brother... well he isn't the one seeking the education. The choice is ultimately yours, good luck.

I did not go there. I live in Stillwater home of Oklahoma State. I know many graduates of OU. It is a good school. My own physician is a graduate. He also studied at UCLA. He has a very high opinion of the school. Especially cardiology. Not sure about pediatrics.

My niece is at Oklahoma University --and happy there -- but her parents live in Texas --that means the cost for her education was more than the cost of that of her brother who chose to stay in his home state. An out of state college will be a lot more expensive than a local college. If you keep your grades high, it could be possible that you could get a scholarship.

Tulsa lost their QB and RB from last year. This year their offense isn't going to be as good. It won't even be the best in their conference. Also, it's easy to have the #1 offense in college football when you play in the Conference USA where defense is almost non-existent except for a couple teams in the league. I'll be impressed when Oklahoma gets back to beating top-25 opponents.

THey've done a great job stepping it up since losing Bradford so it's out of necessity. I think Florida or OU, both are outstanding.

I still think we have a shot now that things are coming together. UT be warned OU D has stepped up since last year and could cause troubles. I'm say they are probably the best defense in the Big 12 right now. But as we all know the Big 12 hasn't been known for great defenses the last few years. (Before you start I'm an Big 12 fan). I'm really looking to OU playing conference games and seeing if they are that good. The OU defense has looked great against the teams they have played so far. BYU being the best offense they have played. OU plays 5 teams in this weeks top 20. 4 of those 5 are known for great offenses. For OU's weaking offense to out score them it will take a great defense. We will have to just wait and see what the season brings.
