TCC is a good college to start. So many people go there and there are tons of oppurtunities you can look into, and excellent teachers. the facilities are quite complete as well. I know this coz i go to TCC, and I was amazed at what was in store for me. It also depends on your major. I would recommend ORU for theology/nursing OU for medicine, sciences, etc OSU for interior design SWOSU for pharmacy/sciences TU for engineering they're all good unis, so just look around and see what fits you best. i hope you find a good one :D

OU, Oklahoma City University (OCU) , OSU, Oklahoma Christian (OC), University of Central Oklahoma..... It really depends on what your major is.

How many credit hours constitute half time enrollment at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC)

How many credit hours constitute half time enrollment at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC)?
I know different schools have different ways of figuring it but I was hoping someone that attended the college would be able to help me answer this question. Thanks

Actually they go off student aid. Because thats who pays them generally.. so anything under 12 credit hours is considered half or part time. With federal student aid, you are required to complete 75% of the credit hours. With love through Christ Jesus, Dusty

Should the University of Utah be crowned 2008 College Football National Champions over Florida & Oklahoma

Should the University of Utah be crowned 2008 College Football National Champions over Florida & Oklahoma?
They are 13-0 and they beat Alabama by more points than the University of Florida. Florida and Oklahoma are playing for the National Championship with one loss each. They also beat 5 top 25 teams and 3 top 15 teams. Does this prove the need for a playoff?

no! but a playoff is not such a bad idea!
3 :
the need for a playoff is necessary, but unfortunately will never happen. Its reasons like this that make college football a joke. But Utah will not be crowned champion because of there schedule. Hopefully something will be done. But I doubt it
4 :
No, they beat an overrated Alabama squad. They would be crushed by Oklahoma or Florida. It does prove that something is wrong with the current BCS system and a playoff or a plus 1 (Utah versus FLA/OK winner) game.
5 :
Why ?Until theirs a playoffs what's it really matters. They will be a top 5 ,that's how it is.
6 :
Utah should have lost to TCU who got rolled by Oklahoma. 'nuff said.
7 :
Given the current system no that is not going to happen. So discussing it means nothing. The BCs will give the #1 ranking to The winner of florida/oklahoma. The AP is free to crown anyone both most likely will crown the winner of Florida Oklahoma #1, although there is an outside chance Texas could get some votes, if Oklahoma wins, but Texas is more impressive tonight. Utah had a great season, but best they can hope for is maybe #3, maybe #2 if they are lucky. This doesnt not prove that a playoff is needed. Given the success of the current system, meaning ratings and Money generated under the current system, the powers that be are going to remain unmotivated to change the system. If you want a true playoff, the only way to acheive it is going to be a boycott of college bowl games, more specifically Big 10 football, and the rose bowl. As long as those 2 things continue to make lots of money and get great ratings, a playoff will never happen. Its has noting to do with controversy of whose #1.

No
9 :
i think so
10 :
Yes they should and yes it does! The BCS sucks and I am boycotting NCAA Football until they get a playoff system! The championship teams should be decided on the field not by voters or computers! Plain and simple!
11 :
I don't think Utah should be just crowned but at least let them have a chance to earn it. yeah I'm a Texas Tech fan no doubt but when I seen that Utah went undefeated and pretty much everyone else lost one game. Its hard to see why they not even in the top 5. After a year like this we do need a playoff system. I don't see why Texas should even play in the Fiesta bowl after they beat Oklahoma who was given the championship game. Florida I not as much mad cause they did beat Alabama but again only settles the BCS case. The biggest reason we need playoffs system is cause now these years we have schools with perfect records ( like UTAH) who deserves a shot but the only thing that screws them is the fact that the voters don't even watch their games ( and the fact they're playing in weak conferences). They claim to only watched the highlights. Which one in particular. The sugar bowl when they beat Alabama to prove a point. Oh yeah and to all those Sooners and fans, if it wasn't for Texas Tech losing to you, it wouldn't be no discussion that Tech would be in the title game. So think about that for next year cause we will be back.
12 :
That's a tough call to make. This all seems very familiar with Hawaii and a perfect season last year but no title shot. Utah is unfortunately in the same boat. They are a non-bcs conference. Which means that no one from there conference has an automatic bid for a bcs game. They can only get in from at-large bids. As far as the BCS is concerned they should be happy with getting into a bowl game. I personally don't agree with all the rules in the BCS. I think some are outdated and should be updated. I would actually prefer to see something more along the lines of the NCAA basketball championship rules. Top 25 teams (not necessarily just BCS conference teams) play until you get down to 2 and they are the ones that go for the title. That's just my opinion though.
13 :
Let me explain. Utah did not beat 5 top 25 teams. When they beat Oregon State, Oregon State was not ranked. Their ranked wins were against #12 TCU, #14 BYU, and #4 Alabama. Let's go through this "amazing" undefeated season. They start out the season barely beating a horrific Michigan team 25-23. They beat UNLV at home 42-21. They win at Utah State 58-10. They win at Air Force 30-23. They beat Weber State at home 37-21. Then came the time expiring field goal win at home over Oregon State, a team which outside of the win over USC was nothing spectacular. They win at Wyoming 40-7, then at home against Colorado State they win 49-16. They squeaked out another win, 13-10 at New Mexico. They beat #12 TCU 13-10, at home. A blow out at San Diego State 63-14, then a win, at home, 48-24 over and overrated BYU team. Finally we are brought to the Alabama game, where I will give it to Utah, they played better than I thought they would. But Bama played a lot worse than I thought they would too. You could tell that they were still thinking about how close they were to the National Championship game. It didn't help that they did not have their best player LT Andre Smith, who I think would have made the difference in this game. The combined record of the FBS teams they played (excluding Weber State cause they are FCS) was 77-73. Not exactly a killer schedule. They didn't play any good teams on the road. All of their tough games were at home. So no I don't think they should win the national championship. You win the national championship by winning the national championship game, not some consolation game. I put the 2008 Utah Utes in the same class as the 2004 Utah Utes and the 2006 Boise State Broncos. Great undefeated non BCS conference teams, but not National Champions.
14 :
No, because even though they are 13-0 and they beat top ranked teams, doesn't mean they should be BCS Champions. If you think about it, Florida is hot right now and so is Oklahoma. With Tebow and Percy Harvin, there's no way Utah will beat them. Wait, it could be a good game.
15 :
Why not? Utah did everything they were suppose to.....like go undefeated (No other team accomplished this, not even Texas Longhorns.....the college I graduated from). As for the need of a playoff? Definitely Yes! We all know what the B.S. stands for in BCS.
16 :
You have to give Utah some consideration because the beat some rated teams and they are 13-0. The BCS is set up really poorly and needs to change to a playoff system.
