in my experience, when you draw unempoyment, you will be told how many job contacts to make each week and how many of those have to be in person. if you find anything you have to take it as long as it meets the requirements you agreed to during your evaluation. that will undoubtedly make it hard to go to class...

When you do a weekly filing, they will ask a long list of questions including whether you are available for work and whether you are going to school. If you answer honestly, you will probably be disqualified. On the other hand, you may qualify for a retraining program.

I don't know what the law implies in OK but here where i live in NY if a person who is currently drawing UI benefits and is going to either to a community college or a university he or she can still draw his or her benefits. Cause the benefits will help pay for their tuition and their books and other supplies that they may need and some little left over for spending. So if you are attending college now and are drawing UI i would talk to a representative and see what the law implies, after all it won't hurt to ask and maybe it will extend the length of your benefits. After all it does here in NY
